Just strolling down the street reveals buildings and outdoor artworks designed in the unique style that could have originated only in Sarasota. Sarasota’s gorgeous views are not to be enjoyed passively. Get as close as you can to them with these spots that display both the natural and architectural highlights of the city.

John Ringling Causeway

Connecting Downtown Sarasota and Lido Key since the 80’s, this causeway is one of the best spots for views of Sarasota. Walk or bike to the top of the bridge and soak in the views of the Gulf, then ride back down to the city. For a fun side stop, make time to visit Bird Key Point to see the wildlife and charming small town.

Bayfront Park

With its multiple walking paths and waterfront access, this gorgeous park has esteemed the honor of being Downtown Sarasota’s natural escape. Take some time to stroll through the park after having dinner at local favorite Marina Jack’s, or launch a canoe from one of the docks and enjoy the amazing views.

Westin’s new bar and restaurant highlights the best parts of life – food, friends, and great views. The Jar of Pickled Veggies goes well with a Jai Alai IPA and will make for an Instagram-worthy shot. Nothing beats drinking a Sparkling Pink Paloma, while looking out at the Sarasota skyline that goes as far as the Gulf, the Bay, and The Rosemary District – where BLVD Sarasota is located. Make sure to get a photo of your drink with the city in the background – your social feed will blow up.
